3 Wardak agriculture officials die in accident

MAIDAN SHAHR (PAN department officials had died in a traffic accident in central Wardak province, an official said on Monday.

The three were on their way to Kabul when their car collided with another car in Arghandi area on the outskirts of Maidan Shahr, the provincial capital, late on Sunday, the governor’s spokesman said.

Attaullah Khogyani told Pajhwok Afghan News the deceased included adviser Zarkhan, administrative officer Syed Anwar and Sultan Mohammad.

A civilian was also wounded in the crash, he added.

Governor Abdul Majeed Khogyani extended his heart-felt condolences to the bereaved families and asked drivers to be careful during Eid holidays.
