SHARAN (PAN): Four militants and a civilian have been killed and seven others wounded during two separate bomb blasts in southeastern Paktika province, an official said on Friday.
One civilian was killed and three others were injured on Thursday evening when the tractor-trolley they were travelling in struck a roadside bomb in the Hasti village of Janikhel district.
Mukhlis Afghan, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the victims were labourers returning home from the district centre.
Half an hour later, four suspected Taliban were killed by the bomb they were planting in the Jamjamo area of the district. The spokesman blamed the fighters for the planting the explosive device in Hasti village.
