PUL-I-KHUMRI (PAN): At least 10 people were injured, four of them critically, in a bomb attack on a wedding party in northern Baghlan province, an official said on Friday.
Gauhar Khan Babari, the Baghlan-i-Markazi district chief, told Pajhwok the assault on the wedding party took place in Kandahar village around 10 pm.
At least 10 people were wounded in the attack that he vehemently denounced, the official said, adding the injured including four women and three children were evacuated to hospital.
Khalil Naramgoi, a doctor at the surgery ward of the Baghlan Central Hospital, confirmed receiving 10 injured people from the house that came under attack.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack. The doctor said five of seriously injured people had been transferred to a hospital in Kunduz province.
