KABUL) on Monday said arresting a would-be suicide bomber and his mentor in southeastern Khost province.
According to a statement from the NDS, the pair was detained from Ghulam Khan area following a tip-off by intelligence officials.
The would-be suicide bomber Hayatullah and his accomplice Sayyed Mohammad confessed to the crime, the statement added.
The NDS said during interrogation, Hayatullah confessed he received military training in Miranshah, the headquarters of the restive North Waziristan in Pakistan, adding he was planning to carry out suicide attack by using corolla car in central Maidan Wardak province.
