KABUL Cup in Australia and New Zealand in January, an official said on Wednesday.

Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) spokesman Farid Hotak told Pajhwok Afghan News it was a practice match. Uganda chose to bat in the 20 overs game in Abu Dhabi and were bowled out for a paltry total of 76 runs off 9 wickets.

Mohammad Nabi Isskhel clinched three wickets and Samiullah Shinwari two wickets.  Gulbadin Naib, Hamza Hotak and Karim Khan Sadiq shared one wicket apiece for Afghanistan, who chased the target in the 13th over with six wickets in hands.  Naib made 25 quick runs which included two sixes and Mohammad Shehzad contributed 22 runs.
