Text of security pact with US released

KABUL and the United States, which is being placed before the Loya Jirga for approval today.

The 22-page text, available in Pashto, Dari and English languages, says US troops in post-2014 Afghanistan will have immunity — a proposition that the Afghan government had previously opposed.

The text is going to be placed before a four-day Loya Jirga representatives invited to the event will share their views with the government on the pact.
