KABUL, reports said on Thursday.

At least four cars hit one another in the pile-up near the town of Naeen, about 350 kilometers southeast of Tehran. Eight Iranians and two Afghans were also injured in the accident that saw three of the cars bursting into flames after the crash, the state-run television reported.

Iran has one of the world‘s worst traffic safety records, with more than 400,000 accidents and about 20,000 deaths on its roads every year.

In Balochistan capital, Quetta, police found bodies of two Afghan brothers dumped near a railway track in a desolated place near Gusabad area. The bodies were identified as 31-year-old Abdul Majeed and 29-year-old Mohammed Azeem sons of Hamid Khan.

The bodies had been shifted to Provincial Sandeman Hospital for autopsies. Police said they had no clue on the motive behind the twin murder, but an investigation was underway.

The deceased were residing in Pashtunabad, on the outskirts of Quetta, where hundreds of Afghan families have taken shelter.
