KABUL (HPC) delegation is leaving for Saudi Arabia to participate in an international conference featuring representatives of Muslim countries.
HPC spokesman Shahzada Shahid told Pajhwok Afghan News that the Organisation of the Islamic Conference.
Afghanistan Council head Qayamuddin Kashaf would head the delegation, including six HPC members, he said. Efforts at bringing peace to the country will be discussed.
The negotiators would seek Saudi leaders’ support for the Afghan-led reconciliation campaign, the spokesman added. They would try to convince Muslim scholars into backing the peace drive, Shahid concluded.
