KABUL-led combat troops are scheduled to exit the country, will be held in London later this month, an organiser said on Friday.

Slated for Jan. 25 at the University of London, the conference will be hosted by the Afghanistan and Asian Association (ACAA) and the European Campaign for Human Rights in Afghanistan (ECHRA).

“We will host 3-expert panels each addressing a specific issue confronting Afghanistan and the Afghan people in the wake of the presidential elections and the departure of international troops,” said Dr. Nooralhaq Nasimi, the ACAA & ECHRA director.

In a statement, he said around 200 delegates would attend the event, with a range of high-profile speakers and guests representing academic, humanitarian and political fields, as well as many Afghan community members from the UK.
