KABUL has launched the National Internship Program (NIP) in collaboration with top universities of the country offering students and young professionals the experience of working in an international telecommunications organization to gain valuable knowledge.

Etisalat Afghanistan has launched the NIP with Kabul University, Kabul Polytechnic and ICTI, a press statement issued by the Etisalate Afghanistan said on Tuesday.

Etisalat Afghanistan is committed in its long-standing resolve of partnering in the development and enhancement of human capital and skill levels of local Afghan employees and people.

Under the NIP: “We have placed 28 interns for a period of 10 weeks in different departments in Etisalat Afghanistan. These interns have been selected on merit basis from the top three universities – Kabul University (Economics, Power Engineering and BCS Faculties), Kabul Polytechnic and ICTI.”

Ahmed Alhosany, Chief Executive Officer Etisalat Afghanistan said: In a highly challenging and constantly changing business environment, we believe identification and placement of top students from the top universities as interns in Etisalat Afghanistan, is essential for developing local talents.”
