QALAT (Pajhwok): Unidentified gunmen shot dead two more Taliban‘s southwestern Balochistan province, sources said on Friday.

Wishing not to be named, a security official in southern Zabul province told Pajhwok Afghan News the pro-Taliban prayer leaders were killed the other day in Quetta. The source gave no further details.

However, an Afghan source in Pakistan identified the slain pair as Maulvi Hamdullah Arez of Farah province and Qari Mohammad Saeed of Kandahar.

Both men were killed under mysterious circumstances, the source said, adding three days back leading Taliban commander Maulana Abdullah Zakiri had been shot dead by unidentified gunmen in the city.

Earlier, prominent insurgent figures have been killed in the city, but Taliban acknowledged the killing of only Zakiri and another commander.
