KABUL): Three Pakistani security personnel were killed on Friday when their convoy came under improvised explosive device (IED) attack in southwestern Balochistan province.
The bomb attack in Kuzdar district was followed by gunfire, DawnNews reported, saying killing three security personnel were killed and four others wounded.
A spokesman for the paramilitary Frontier Corps told the private TV channel the security convoy was traveling from Wadh area to Bela when it struck the remote-controlled IED.
After the explosion, suspected militants opened fire on the security personnel from nearby mountains. Security forces returned fire and the exchange continued until noon.
