Foreign spies disrupting peace parleys: Osmani

KABULinfo-icon (Pajhwok): Foreign intelligence networks were trying to disrupt peace negotiations between the government in Kabul and the Talibaninfo-icon, a Cabinet minister has said.

Foreign Minister Zarar Ahmed Osmani said the peace dialogue would begin if the foreign intelligence services cut ties with the Taliban during the process.

He told the Turkish news service Anadolu Agency the Taliban could not survive if foreign elements stopped supporting them.

"Pakistaninfo-icon must bring the Taliban to the negotiating table," he stressed, supporting the security pact with the US. "We first want to begin peace negotiations with the Taliban…”
