Drug addict wounds wife, children

HERAT (Pajhwok): A drug addict wounded his wife and two children by hurling a hand grenade at them in western Herat province on Tuesday.

Mohammad Rafiq Sherzai, the provincial hospital spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident took place in Guzra district

Ahmad Shah, the drug addict, took his wife and two children to a desert, where he injured his wife and children with a hand grenade.

The wounded were in stable condition at the Herat zonal hospital, he said, adding the man had fled and police were looking for him.
