GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): Two children and three militants have been killed in separate incidents in southern Ghazni province, officials said on Thursday.
Two children were killed after a device they were playing with exploded in Asphandi area of Ghazni city late Wednesday, deputy governor, Mohammad Ali Ahmadi told Pajhwok Afghan News.
Both the children were under 12 years of age, Ahmadi said.
Elsewhere in Ghazni, three militants were killed another wounded in Afghan security forces attack in Nani area of Andar district last night.
The attack took place when militants were planting roadside bomb on Kandahar-Kabul highway in Nani area, Ahmadi said.
The bodies of slain militants were still laying on the scene, he said. However, Taliban have not yet commented on the incident.
