KABUL’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan provinces, officials said.

Nine people were killed and 47 injured when a suspected suicide bomber targeted a police van in Sarband locality on Peshawar’s outskirts. Women, children and policemen were among the victims, police told the Pakistani media.

The dead and wounded were shifted to the Lady Reading Hospital and the Hayatabad Medial Complex. Eight kilograms of explosives were used in the explosion.

In Quetta, 10 people were killed and 20 others wounded when a bomb-rigged bicycle went off near the Quetta’s Science College Chowk.

The blast apparently targeted a Frontier Corps vehicle passing near the Science College. Some of the wounded were said to be in critical condition.
