NDS claims arresting suicide bomber

KABUL) on Monday claimed arresting a would-be suicide bomber in central Uruzgan province on Monday.

A statement by the NDS said the attacker was planning to detonate his explosive-laden car in the crowded area of Tarinkot City, the provincial capital.

However, security officials foiled the imminent sabotage act by detaining the attacker.

In addition, the NDS recovered huge arms and ammunition cache from Qazi Khel area on the outskirts of central Kapisa province.

Rifles, Klashnikoves, rockets and M-I6 were among various brands of weapons seized by the security officials, the statement added.
