Badghis blast leaves policeman dead

QALA-I-NAW (Pajhwok): One policeman has been killed and two others wounded in a roadside bomb explosion in the Qadis district of western Badghis province, an official said.

The incident occurred the other day late afternoon in Darzinda area on the outskirts of the district, Lt. Col. Mohammad Qayyum Angar, provincial police chief, told Pajhwok Afghan News.

A police patrolling vehicle was hit by the planted bomb, which caused the casualties, he added.
