KABUL would be completed

A statement by the Pakistani embassy in Kabul has refuted media reports that Pakistan funded projects in Afghanistan are abandoned.

“Pakistan is committed to complete all its projects in Afghanistan including Torkham-Jalalabad Road, Rehman Baba School Hostel, Jinnah Hospital in Kabul, Aminullah Logari Hospital in Logar and Nishtar Kidney Centre in Jalalabad,” the statement added.

Pakistan, it said had already completed a number of projects such as Rahman Baba School, Engineering Faculty in Mazar Sharif and Allama Iqbal Faculty of Humanities in Kabul University and Sir Syed Post Graduate Faculty in Nangarhar University.

In addition, Pakistan is also providing 3,000 scholarships to Afghan students for study in professional colleges and universities of the country.
