KABULinfo-icon/FAIZABAD (Pajhwok): Helicopter-borne anti-drug forces raided a heroin-processing factory, destroyed it and seized 300 kilograms of narcotics in Kasham district of northeastern Badakhshan province, an official said on Thursday.

A Badakhshan Counternarcotics Department official wrote on his Facebook page that the operation was conducted in Gandom Qul village of the district on Wednesday.

He said the operation involving a special counternarcotics team resulted into the seizure of 287 kilograms of opium and 15 kilograms of heroin.
