KABUL-based Bacha Khan University on Friday presented a letter of appreciation to President Hamid Karzai.
University Vice-Chancellor Fazal Rahim Marwat gave Karzai the appreciation letter at his office in Kabul, a statement from the Presidential Palace said.
On behalf of university staff and students, Marwat praised the president’s services over the past 13 years. “I thank the president for accepting this appreciation letter,” he said.
The vice-chancellor and his colleagues were in Kabul to attend an international seminar marking the 100th birthday of renowned Pashto poet Khan Abdul Ghani Khan.
