2 killed, 11 injured in Pakistan blasts

KABUL’s northwestern tribal region of Bajaur on Sunday.

In the adjoining tribal area of Mohmand, one soldier was killed and five others were wounded in a remote-controlled explosion, media reports said.

A Levies vehicle was the target of the attack in Khar, the headquarters of Bajaur, according to Geo TV, monitored here. A woman was killed in the blast.

In the Chamkani area of Mohmand, a bomb disposal squad was attacked with an improvised explosive device (IED). The team was scanning road safety in the locality.
