JALALABAD (Pajhwok): A new building for the Border and Tribal Affairs Department was inaugurated in the capital of eastern Nangarhar province on Tuesday.

The two storey-building, having 16 rooms and other facilities, was constructed at a cost of 10.1 million afghanis, provided by the ministry concerned.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony in Jalalabad, Governor Maulviinfo-icon Attaullah Ludin hoped the new building would help resolve problems of staff and visitors.

He highlighted the importance of the department’s role in resolving tribal disputes, announcing the reconstructioninfo-icon of four kilometres of roads.
