Following their massive participation in the election, women proved they wanted active role in next government, the AWPPC said.
AWPPC in charge Dr. Alima told journalists in Kabul they supported political role of women in politics. She said it was a matter of concern that leading politicians were at odds with each other.
“Keeping in view the prevailing situation of the country, we have clear and transparent stance regarding women role in politics,” she added.
In the current political phase of the country, she urged both presidential runners to respect people’s ballots and seek legal solutions for the ongoing problems in order to keep the country away from plunging into anarchy.
