ALP official’s son killed in Logar blast

PUL-I-ALAM (Pajhwok): The son of Afghan Local Police (ALP) died and his wife wounded when a bomb planted in front of his house gate exploded in central Logar province, an official said on Wednesday.

The incident happened at around 8:00am on the outskirt of Pul-i-Alam city, the provincial capital, Police Chief Abdul Wali Tufan Taraki told Pajhwok Afghan News.

The explosives were planted in front of the gate of Daud’s house. The device went off as his son stepped out of his gate.
