MAHMOOD RAQI (Pajhwok): The locals in central Kapisa province complained on Saturday the unity government was resorting to delaying tactics to form the cabinet while tens of people were being killed daily in spiraling violence across the country.

They said heavy losses had been inflicted on trade and commerce activities following prolonged election process and now the unity government was locked in differences over the formation of the cabinet.

Haji Amrullah, a resident of Taqab district, told Pajhwok Afghan News he knew about suicide attack or explosion every morning when he got up.

“Insecurity has been increased not only in Kabul City but the menace has intensified in rest of the provinces,” he complained.

The unity government, he said was entangled as to how forms the cabinet while the countrymen were being killed mercilessly on daily basis.

Habibullah, a resident of the capital city, said that the government had the responsibility to protect the lives of Afghans.

“The government should announce the cabinet as soon as possible. Early formation of the cabinet will help reduce violence in the country,” he remarked.

Another resident, Haji Sher Muhammad, suggested if the government was interested to ensure peace and stability then it should announce the central cabinet so that the concerned ministries started focus on their work.
