KABUL (Pajhwok): Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Abdullah Abdullah has named a dozen aides for cabinet slots, an insider revealed on Monday.
A source close to the CEO told Pajhwok Afghan News the 12 individuals enjoyed political proximity to the former foreign minister. The ministers-designate are:
Salahuddin Rabbani, minister of foreign affairs;
Noor-ul-Haq Ulumi, minister of interior;
Sardar Rahman Oghli, minister of economy;
Sardar Mohammad Rahimi, minister of trade and commerce;
Mahmood Saiqal, minister of water and energy;
Najiba Ayubi, minister of women’s affairs;
Ferozuddin Feroz, minister of public health;
Alami Balkhi, minister of justice;
Barna Karimi, minister of information technology;
Ahmad Sayar Mahjoor, minister of refugees;
Eng. Naseer Ahmad Durrani, minister of rural rehabilitation and development;
Zalmai Younusi, minister of education.
Earlier, sources had said President Ashraf Ghani would announce the cabinets at 2:30pm on Monday on the national hook-up.
