1 dead, 20 wounded in Ghazni road mishap

GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): One person was killed and 20 others wounded in a traffic accident on Kabul– Kandahar Highway on the outskirts of Andar district of southern Ghazni province on Tuesday, an official said.

The governor’s spokesman Shafiq Nang told Pajhwok Afghan News the mishap took place in a collision between 303 model bus and a truck in Ogri area of the district this morning.

One passenger died and 20 others including four women and a child wounded in the crash, he confirmed, adding that the wounded were evacuated to Ghazni Civil Hospital for treatment.

Hospital Director Dr. Baz Mohammad Himat confirmed receiving one dead and 12 injured with some of them in critical condition.
