1 killed, 4 injured in Samangan truck crash

AIBAK (Pajhwok): One person was killed and four others sustained injuries when two trucks collided in northwestern Samangan province, an official said on Sunday.

Traffic Department Director Col. Abdul Razaq told Pajhwok Afghan News the accident occurred at around 10am last night, when the two trucks crashed into each other at the Rubatak pass.

He said the wounded persons belonged to Kabul, Kapisa and Takhar provinces and they had been taken to the Samangan civil hospital.

The hospital director, Jamaluddin Aryan, said the wounded men were was stable condition.
