KHOST CITY (Pajhwok): At least 13 development projects in southeastern Khost province have been sanctioned which would be launched soon, officials said on Wednesday.
Acting Governor Abdul Jabbar Naeemi announced the launch of the projects at a gathering attended by tribal elders, a statement from the governor’s spokesman said.
The projects financed by SIKA organisation would cost 50 million afs, he said, adding that the NGO was currently active in Nader Shah Kot, Ismail Khail, Mandozai, Tanai and Zazai Maidan districts.
Mohammad Rahman, a resident of Khost city, welcomed construction of the projects and asked the donors to channel their aids on the projects that were need of the hour.
The statement does not provide details about the projects but assert their launch would be highly beneficial for the people of this southeastern province.
