JALALABAD (Pajhwok): Two Afghan National Army (ANA) soldiers were killed in a bomb attack in eastern Laghman province on Monday, an official said.
Sarhadi Zwak, the governor’s spokesman, told Pajhwok Afghan News the ANA vehicle struck the roadside bomb in the Watan Gato area of Alishang district at around 7.00am.
He said two ANA soldiers were killed and a third wounded in the blast. The injured soldier was evacuated to hospital and his condition was stable, Zwak said. The soldiers launched operation after the incident.
As usual, Taliban militants claimed responsibility for the attack.
