2 Afghan workers dead in Bagram rocket strike

CHARIKAR (Pajhwok): Two Afghan workers were killed during a rocket attack on the main US airbase in central Parwan province on Monday, an official said.

Abdul Shakoor Qodosi, the district chief, told Pajhwok Afghan News the Bagram airfield came under rocket attack from militants in the morning.

Without giving further details, he said foreign forces on the airbase had shared the information with him.

A Taliban spokesman, Zabihullah Mujahid, claimed responsibility for the attack but he had no information to share about casualties.
