2 held with huge quantity of heroin

LASHKARGAH (PAJHWOK): Security forces detained two smugglers with a huge quantity of heroin in southern Helmand province, an official said on Thursday.

Gen Hamidullah Sadiqi, commander of the 601^st zone brigade, told Pajhwok Afghan News that the men were detained when they were transporting the contraband to Pakistan in a vehicle.

The smugglers, he said were arrested on a tip-off near Okhghara locality of Garamsir district.
