KABUL (Pajhwok): Three people have been killed and six others wounded as a result of a clash between local groups in central Parwan province, an official said Wednesday.

Crime branch chief Lutf-u-Rahman Rashad told Pajhwok Afghan News the clash took place as a result of personal feud in the Qalacha Sokhta area on the outskirts of the capital of the province last night.

He said Khan Pacha, a police officer in Ghazni, and Ainuddin, another police officer in Maidan Wardak, were indirectly involved in the clash. Rashad added three of the men had been detained but the two police officers managed to escape.

Meanwhile, Parwan Civil Hospital Director Abdul Qasim Sangin confirmed receiving three bodies and three wounded people, including a woman. He said some other injured people were referred to Kabul for treatment.

Some days back, five members of a family were killed by illegal armed men in a similar incident in Qaracha area of Bagram district in Parwan province.
