MAHMOOD RAQI (Pajhwok): Two womeninfo-icon and as many children were killed when rocket hit a house in Tagab district of central Kapisa province during firefight between militants and Afghan security forces.

Khairullah, a resident of the district, said a number of families had been trapped in the area and could not go outside of their homes because of intense firing from both the sides.

Simultaneous clashes between insurgents and security forces erupted in Qorghal, Tatarkhel and Barbitano villages from Tuesday, which was still ongoing.
