GHAZNI CITY (Pajhwok): Five militants have been killed in an armed clash between two rebel groups in the Andar district of southern Ghazni province, the governor’s spokesman said on Monday.
Shafiq Nang told Pajhwok Afghan News the clash erupted between the groups in the Zarin village of the district late Sunday night. The groups led by Sarhadi and Mudassir traded fire, killing five men loyal to the former.
Rahimullah, a resident of the locality, said the fight occurred when one group extorted money from a person and the other faction started harassing the same individual to give them money.
