MAIMANA (Pajhwok): Six people including the provincial youth movement council head were killed in a roadside bombing in the Garziwan district of northern Faryab province, an official said on Wednesday.
District chief Abdur Razzaq Kakar told Pajhwok Afghan News the incident took place on Tuesday night when a car carrying members of an uprising force was hit by a roadside bomb in Antan area.
Six individuals including the head of the local youth movement council, Humayun Bekzad were killed in the attack. The movement’s provincial council head Ehsanullah Qawanich said Bekzad was on his way home from the district police headquarters.
