KHOST CITY (Pajhwok): The construction of two complexes in the governor’s house in southeastern Khost province was completed and work on another building initiated on Tuesday.

Acting Governor Abdul Jabbar Naeemi said the buildings would house the Departments of Commerce and Industries and Afghanistan Investment Support Agency (AISA).

The buildings, constructed at a cost of 40 million afghanis, have modern facilities, including 20 rooms with internet connections. Naeemi said earlier AISA was affairs were run in a rental area. 

He said work on a building for the commerce and industries department was completed in one year. The building has been constructed at a cost of 18 million afghanis. It has 28 administrative rooms and two conference halls.

Meanwhile, Naeemi and others officials laid the foundation stone of a building for the National Solidarity Programme (NSP).

NSP Director Eng. Mohammad Basir said the building would be constructed at a cost of 12 million afghanis provided by the World Bank (WB). The building will have 18 administrative rooms and two conference halls.
