Hate speech: Afghan prayer leader detained in Pabbi

KABULinfo-icon (Pajhwok): An Afghan prayer leader has been detained for delivering hate speech during Friday sermon in northwestern Pakistaninfo-icon, a media report said.

Maulviinfo-icon Noorullah was arrested in the Pabbi area near Nowshera on the basis of a complaint by local residents, a Pakistani English-language newspaper reported.

Dawn said Noorullah was a prayer leader at Jamia Masjid Tahirzai No 1 in Pabbi bazaar. On receiving information about hate speech, a police party reached the mosqueinfo-icon and arrested the cleric.
