BAMIYAN (PAJHWOK): Incessant downpour followed by heavy snowfall caused blocking central Bamyan province high way with Kabul and Daikundi provinces, officials said on Sunday.
The closure of roads suspended communication of districts with provincial capital, multiplying people’s problems amid harsh weather.
Muhammad Anwar, a driver, said: “I along with all passengers are going to Kabul but cannot move forward because of closure of highway.”
But spokesman of Bamyan deputy governor said that contracts with 11 private firms had been signed for clearing roads blocked by land slide or snowfall.
