Karzai to leave for India next week

KABUL (Pajhwok): On his first foreign trip post-presidency, former president Hamid Karzai is leaving for India next week to attend a conference, a New Delhi-based policy think-tank said on Thursday.

In a press release, the Delhi Policy Group (DPG) said it would organise the conference on Wednesday.

Karzai has been invited to give a lecture on “Afghanistan and its neighbours”.

However, the ex-president’s office has so far not commented about the upcoming trip.
