Kunar head-on collision claims 4 lives

ASADABAD (Pajhwok): Four people were killed in a head-on collision in the Sarkano district of eastern Kunar province on Monday, the police chief said.

Brig. Gen. Abdul Haseeb Syedkhel told Pajhwok Afghan News the casualties occurred in the morning when a car ploughed into a mini-bus in the district centre.

Also on Monday, he said, Pakistani forces fired at least 10 rockets into Shigal and Dangam districts. At least one woman was wounded in the cross-border attack.
