Laghman explosion leaves 10 injured

JALALABAD (Pajhwok): At least 10 civilians were wounded in a bomb explosion in Mehtarlam, the capital of eastern Laghman province, on Friday morning.

Attacked to a bicycle, the magnetic bomb went off in Asmat Square area at about 9am, the governor’s spokesman Sarhadi Zwak said.

He told Pajhwok Afghan News the injured — all men — had been evacuated to the Laghman Civil Hospital. Two of the wounded are said to be in critical condition.
