PERTH (Pajhwok): Mohammad Nabi, captain of Afghanistaninfo-icon cricket team said his team is not scared of Australia as the two sides would face-off in Worldinfo-icon Cup clash in Perth on Wednesday.

He told reporters that "my team is not scared of them (Australian team). The rival team has good batsmen, bowlers and fielders."

Afghanistan defeated Scotland in Dunedin was seen as a great victory in the World Cricket cup. Nabi said that his team had improved considerably after winning one match. He recalled that his team played against Australian in Sharjah and his team performed well at that time.

He said that Afghanistan team was extremely excited to confront the best team on Wednesday.
