KABUL’s soil against anyone.

After the signing of two important security pacts with the US and NATO, Abdullah characterised the signing of the deals a well-thought-out step for Afghanistan’s security and stability.

National Security Advisor Hanif Atmar signed the vital accords with US Ambassador James B. Cunningham and NATO’s Senior Civilian Representative Maurits R. Jochems.

President Dr. Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai, the two vice-presidents, cabinet members and jihadi leaders were also present at the signing ceremony.

Abdullah hailed the agreement signing as a giant step toward stability in the country. The well-deliberated deals had been signed after long discussions based on Afghanistan’s requirements, he remarked.

“This is a very crucial step we are taking today. The implementation of this agreement will help us stand on our own feet and take charge og our security,” the CEO said.

He believed the step would have positive effects on the overall security environment in Afghanistan and the wider region. The people would soon realise significance of the pacts, he predicted.

“Afghanistan’s stability is in the interest of our neighbours and I want to tell them that the BSA enforcement will not harm the security of any country,” Abdullah said.
