KABUL (Pajhwok): The contribution of Zabihullah Ehsas, the Pajhwok Afghan News correspondent in the north, was praised by a number of culturists in Kabul on Friday.
Leading Pashto language writers, including Ustad Mohammad Asif Samim, Ustad Najibullah Manali, Dr. Roohi, Sadiq Zarak and several others from Kabul and Nangarhar attended the gathering.
Speaking on the occasion, Samim lauded the efforts of Ehsas for promoting Pashto language in the northern zone. Ehsas had been publishing Parkha and Pasarlai magazines despite challenges.
Javed Hamim Kakar, regional editor of Pajhwok Afghan News, threw light on the contribution of Ehsas and hailed him as a brave, upcoming and energetic journalist.
Kakar said that Ehsas had been filing stories not only on Balkh issues but he had been covering Samangan, Sar-i-Pul, Baghlan, Kunduz and Takhar provinces.
Zarak also commended the performance of Ehsas as a courageous journalist. The reporter thanked all participants and writers for appreciating his work and journalistic contribution.
