Policeman held for robbery; suicide vests recovered

ZARANJ (Pajhwok): Two individuals including a policeman were arrested on charges of robbery and two suicide vests recovered in southwestern Nimroz province on Tuesday, an official said.

Col. Rahmatullah Nasir, director of the National Directorate of Security (NDS), said the robbers were arrested on the Zaranj-Charburjak highway.

Some arms and other items they had stolen were also recovered from their possession, he added. Police recovered two suicide vests in the provincial capital.
