FARAH CITY (Pajhwok): Funded by a Qatari businessman, the building for a new school has been completed in western Farah province, an official said on Wednesday.
The school in Nangab locality — close to Farah City — cost $290,000 provided by Sheikh Ali Bin Abdullah II, a Qatari businessman, Education Director Mohammad Saber Farooqi said.
The building has all facilities including 12 classrooms and administration rooms, he said, recalling earlier students were forced to get education in a rented building.
Sheikh Ali heads a social welfare organisation in the locality. Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Ali said he considered Afghanistan and a hospital would be built soon.
