KABUL said on Sunday.
A source in the ISAF media office in Kabul told Pajhwok Afghan News the airport came under militant attack on Saturday night. Some of the rockets fell on a road and one hit a building.
The source said no casualties resulted from the strike but the road and the building were partially damaged. He gave no further details.
Meanwhile, Taliban said the target of the attack was US Defence Secretary Chuck Hagel, who was present at the airport at the time.
The group’s spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid claimed the attack had caused ISAF heavy financial losses.
