Uruzgan hajj director injured in blast

TIRINKOT (Pajhwok): The hajj and religious affairs director for central Uruzgan province was injured in a bomb blast along with three other people late Sunday, an official said.

A bomb-rigged motorcycle was detonated when Maulvi Hamdullah’s car passed by it in the first police district of Tirinkot, the province capital, the district police chief, Gul Aqa, told Pajhwok Afghan News.

Civil hospital head Dr. Izzatullah said they had been delivered two injured persons from the scene and they were in a stable condition.

The director had previously sustained injuries in an explosion that took place in front of his house five months ago.
